A Jefferson County woman is suing over claims she was injured in a collision at a red light.
Mary Smith filed a lawsuit Oct. 15 in Jefferson County District Court against Tae Sung Kim.
According to the complaint, Smith was stopped at a red light on Phelan Boulevard approaching West Lucas in Beaumont on Aug. 14, 2014, when Kim struck the back of her vehicle. Smith allegedly sustained injuries, and Kim is accused of negligence.
Smith is represented by attorney E. Hart Green of Weller, Green, Toups and Terrell in Beaumont.
