Man says daughter wrongfully withdrew $622K

Stackofmoney

A father is suing his daughter over claims she removed money from his bank accounts without his consent.

Clifton A. Rogillio filed a lawsuit Dec. 11, 2014, in Galveston County District Court against Brenda L. Bell, citing conversion.

According to the complaint, in July or August 2014, Bell took her father, Rogillio, who is 92, to the three banks where he has accounts and caused her name to be placed on them. The complaint states Bell removed more than $622,000 from the accounts without Rogillio's consent on Oct. 9, 2014, and refuses to return the money.

Rogillio seeks a temporary restraining order preventing Bell from spending or co-mingling the money she removed. He is represented by attorney Keith Gross of League City.
