On July 12, 2005, United States Patent No. 6,917,304 (“the ‘304 Patent”) was duly and legally issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The ‘304 Patent is titled “Wireless Mutliplex [sic] Data Transmission System.” The PCT application leading to the ‘304 Patent was filed on April 3, 1998.

Magnacross is the assignee of all right, title and interest in the ‘304 patent, including all rights to enforce and prosecute actions for infringement and to collect damages for all relevant times against infringers of the ‘304 Patent.

The patent infringement actions seek to stop Defendants’ infringement of United States Patent No. 6,684,248.

The claims of the '248 Patent cover, inter alia, methods for providing a securetransfer of data comprising: transferring the data to a secure database server, and upon the sender initiating a transfer of the data to a recipient, causing an inquiry to be made as to whether the recipient has an affiliation with the a network; and upon a determination of no affiliation, causing the network to dynamically create an account for the recipient comprising a storage location; storing data addressed to the recipient in the storage location; providing a notification to the recipient of the data being available; and transferring the data to the recipient upon request.
