A Beaumont business has filed an application for post-judgment writ of garnishment against a Massachusetts company doing business in Beaumont.
Crenshaw Enterprises doing business as Tiger Industrial Rentals claims it obtained a judgment from R&D Environmental Services in Jefferson County District Court on Dec. 4, 2009, for $42,790.53.
According to the application filed March 3 in Jefferson County District Court, R&D has still not satisfied the judgment and does not possess sufficient property in Texas to satisfy such a judgment.
However, Clean Harbors Environmental Services, the defendant Massachusetts company, does have sufficient property in Texas and remains indebted to R&D, the application states.
Crenshaw wants to take Clean Harbors' property in exchange for the unpaid judgment, the application says.
The case has been assigned to Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court.
