Company sues to recover cost of supplies

A company claims a Louisiana corporation failed to pay it more than $17,000 for goods it sold or rented.

GS Global Supply filed a lawsuit March 8 in Jefferson County District Court against Industrial Pipeline Supplies and More.

GS Global claims it rented and/or sold goods to Industrial Pipeline Supplies for $17,086. However, after GS Global delivered the items, Industrial Pipeline Supplies failed to make payments on them, according to the complaint.

Because of Industrial Supplies' failure to pay for the materials, GS Global sustained financial harm and lost benefits, the suit states.

GS Global seeks a judgment not to exceed $75,000, plus pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and other relief to which it may be entitled.

Chris Portner of Reaud, Morgan and Quinn in Beaumont will be representing them.

The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.

Jefferson County District Court case number: A186-215.
