Roofing company sues man over non-payment

A roofing company claims a Port Arthur man failed to pay it $35,000 for services and goods he purchased on credit.

Robert Charles Arredondo doing business as Bob's All-Weather Roofing filed a lawsuit March 23 in Jefferson County District Court against Farid Abusaleh.

Arredondo claims Abusaleh ordered, purchased and received on credit certain goods and services from Bob's All-Weather. However, Abusaleh failed to pay for the goods and owes $35,000 to Arredondo, according to the complaint.

In addition to the money he says Abusaleh owes it, Arrendondo seeks attorney's fees, costs, pre- and post-judgment interest at the highest rate allowed by law and other relief the court deems just.

Brandon P. Monk of The Monk Law Firm in Port Arthur will be representing him.

The case has been assigned to Judge Gary Sanderson, 60th District Court.

Jefferson County District Court case number: B186-370.
