Cynthia Granger has filed suit against truck driver John Allen and his employer, G&P Trucking, for a collision which occurred back in April 2008.
The suit was filed April 1 in Orange County District Court.
According to the suit, on April 7, 2008, Allen was driving a commercial vehicle on I-10 when he changed lanes and struck Granger.
Granger alleges Allen negligently failed to maintain a proper lookout and changed lanes when it was unsafe to do so.
She also alleges G&P was negligent in its hiring and training of him.
She is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish and lost wages.
She is represented by attorney Austin Van Stean.
The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
