Seven new lawsuits against insurance companies over Hurricane Ike damage claims have been filed in Jefferson County District Court, Sept. 20-24, 2010.
The following complaints have been filed:
Vincent and Rosa Arceneaux of 3474 Westmoreland St. in Beaumont alleges State Farm Lloyds denied his claim for roof and water damages caused to his property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. The Arceneauxes will be represented by Carlos E. Solis and Paul A. Smith Jr. of Solis and Smith in San Antonio and by Danny R. Scott Jr. of the Law Office of Danny R. Scott Jr. in Beaumont. James and Kathleen Bailey of 424 Atlanta Ave. in Nederland allege Fire Insurance Exchange denied their claim for roof, structural, water and wind damages caused to their home after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. John Limbrick of 2900 Ave. A in Beaumont alleges State Farm Lloyds denied his claim for roof and water damages caused to his property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Edmond and Shirley Richards of 3995 Reed St. in Beaumont allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008.
