Young driver, mom sue over Webster collision

GALVESTON - A Galveston County woman and her minor daughter have filed suit over a car accident that occurred on Bay Area Boulevard.

Connie and Sara Snider claim Christopher Zavala rear-ended their vehicle on Dec. 16, 2008, as they were traveling in the 1100 block of Bay Area Boulevard in Webster, a lawsuit filed Nov. 1 in Galveston County District Court says.

Sarah Snider was the driver with her mother in the passenger seat. They say the alleged collision occurred "suddenly and without warning."

The suit insists that Sarah Snider sustained personal injuries which necessitated medical treatment. Connie Snider assumed responsibility for the treatment expenses because her daughter was not of the age of majority at the time, the original petition states.

The vehicle which Christopher Zavala operated did not belong to the motorist but to Sergio Zavala, who is also named a defendant in the suit.

The plaintiffs consequently seek unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

They are represented by Kieshnick & DuCote PLLC.

The case has been assigned to Galveston County 122nd District Court Judge John Ellisor.
