Port Arthur residents in litigation over collision

Hilda Rawlins has filed suit against Port Arthur resident Milton Trass for allegedly causing a motor vehicle collision earlier this year.

The suit was filed May 26 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on March 31 Rawlins and Trass collided at the intersection of Savannah and 19th Street in Port Arthur.

The suit does not state how the incident occurred, nor does the suit list any alleged acts of negligence committed by Trass.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Houston attorney John Carwile represents the plaintiff.

Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
