Cash's Bar and Grill sued for woman's injury

Area resident Saige Richardson has filed suit against Cash's Bar and Grill, alleging she was injured while at the restaurant's premises.

The suit was filed Aug. 31 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Jan. 24, 2010, Richardson was a patron at the Cash's at Central Mall Drive in Port Arthur when she was injured.

However, the suit does not state how she was injured, nor does the suit list a specific act of negligence.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

She is represented by Jill S. Chatelain of McPherson, Hughes, Bradley, Wimberley, Steele & Chatelain in Port Arthur.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, has been assigned to the case.
