Acme Truck sued for driver's wreck

Beaumont local Bernard Ferguson is suing Acme Truck Line and Charles Fontenot, an Acme truck driver who allegedly caused a collision with Ferguson.

The suit was filed Dec. 27 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Dec. 11 Ferguson was traveling west on I-10 in Beaumont when Fontenot, who was driving an 18-wheeler while in the employment of Acme, struck the back of his vehicle, causing both vehicles to hit a concrete barrier.
