Two Port Arthur residents are in litigation over a November automobile collision.
Alvin Holt filed suit against Antonio Lewis on Jan. 20 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 10 Holt was traveling east on Highway 87 when Lewis allegedly failed to yield the right of way and struck his vehicle, injuring Holt's neck and back.
The suit also accuses Lewis of negligently failing to keep a proper lookout, speeding and failing to apply his brakes in a timely manner.
The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Clay Dugas represents him.
Judge Gary Sanderson, 6oth District Court, is assigned to the case.
