Passenger sues driver following collision

Barbara Darden has filed suit against Pricilla Seymour for causing an automobile collision in a vehicle in which she was a passenger.

The suit was filed Jan. 20 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, the automobile collision occurred on June 30, 2010.

However, the suit fails to say how or where the incident occurred.

The suit accuses the defendant of negligently failing to take evasive action, yield the right of way and apply her brakes.

Furthermore, the suit also faults defendant Edward Seymour with negligent entrustment.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Beaumont attorney Dru Montgomery represents her.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
