A total of seven new lawsuits against insurance companies over Hurricane Ike damage claims were filed in Jefferson County District Court, March 5-16.
The following complaints have been filed:
Tyrell Antwine of 7473 Blewett in Beaumont alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied his claim for roof and water damages caused to his property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Antwine will be represented by Jason B. Speights, Todd A. Worrich and Shelly Enyart of Speights and Worrich in San Antonio. Jefferson County District Court case number: A192-161.
Barbara Bryant of 3136 12th St. in Port Arthur alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied her claim for roof and water damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Jefferson County District Court case number: E192-169.
Hector and Maria Chavez of 9451 FM 365 Rd. in Beaumont allege Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. Fernando and Maria Figueroa of 3340 11th St. in Port Arthur alleges Texas Windstorm Insurance Association denied their claim for roof and water damages caused to their property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008.
