Beaumont local Lady Watson is suing Kountze resident Roxanne Haygood for allegedly causing a multi-car collision.
The suit was filed June 18 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 11, 2010, Haygood rear-ended a vehicle behind Watson, initiating a multi-car collision.
The suit does not state where the incident occurred but does blame the plaintiff for negligently failing to keep a proper lookout and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Beaumont attorney Ryan Scott represents the plaintiff.
Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
