An insurance company is facing suit after a father was killed.
Patricia Leger, individually and as executor of the Estate of William Leger and as next of friend of minor children Tatum Leger and Victoria Leger, filed suit May 21 in the Jefferson County District Court against State Farm Mutual Insurance Company.
According to the complaint, William Leger was killed in an auto accident in Louisiana on Dec. 22.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages to compensate them for injuries sustained a result of William's passing.
Patricia Leger is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum.
