A woman is suing after sustaining injury in a car accident.
Daisy McGee filed a lawsuit Jan. 13 in the Jefferson County District Court against Anna M. Smith, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on July 9, the vehicle Smith was operating rear-ended the vehicle McGee drove while she was stopped in traffic on Highway 105 at the intersection with Major Drive in Beaumont. McGee sustained injuries that require ongoing medical treatment, according to the complaint.
McGee is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.
