US Bank seeks court approval to foreclose on a home in Beaumont

US Bank filed an Application for Home Equity Foreclosure in the Jefferson County District Court on Jan. 21. 

US Bank claims they loaned $48,000 to Vanessa M. Johnson in 2005, but the payments are not up to date.

The loan was on a home at 655 Zavalla Drive in Beaumont.

JosUS Bank says it needed $5,199.92 by Jan. 7, 2014, in order to cure the default. The full amount of the loan at this point is allegedly $54,632.26.

US Bank is seeking approval of the foreclosure and is being represented by attorney Joseph M. Vacek.

The case has been assigned to Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court.
