A couple are suing a driver after the driver caused a crash.
Troy Collins and Tiffany Collins filed a lawsuit Jan. 27 in the Jefferson County Court against Freddie Louis Jr., citing negligence.
The lawsuit states on April 8, the plaintiffs were driving when they were struck by a vehicle driven by the defendant.
The plaintiffs allege the defendant caused the crash due to making an unsafe lane change.
The Collins are seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit.
They are being represented in the case by attorney Ryan C. Scott.
