Klein Investigations sues client alleging nonpayment

A Jefferson County business is suing after a client refuses to pay.

Klein Investigations & Consulting Inc. filed a lawsuit Feb. 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Susan Stanton, citing breach of contract. 

The complaint states the defendant hired the plaintiff to perform investigative services.

The plaintiff claims it sent invoices to the defendant on Dec. 13 and Jan. 22, seeking payment.

The company claims the defendant refuses to pay the balanced owed in breach of contract, according to the complaint.

Klein Investigations & Consulting is seeking $50,000 in damages.

They are being represented in the case by attorney John S. Morgan of Morgan Law Firm.
