Brown darren new

A Harris County woman is suing over claims she sustained injuries from a car accident.

Carlene Conway filed a lawsuit Feb. 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Rockin' A Cafe, et al, citing negligence.

Conway claims on Sept. 26, as she was driving in her car in Beaumont, the defendant Salas stopped his car illegally in front of her and attempted to back up in reverse when he crashed into Conway.

The suit alleges the defendant was driving in a careless and reckless manner, causing the accident and severe injury to Conway's neck, spine, chest, arms, legs and body generally.

Conway is seeking damages in excess of $200,000, interest and court costs.

She is being represented in the case by Beaumont attorney Darren L. Brown of Provost Umphrey Law Firm LLP.
