Galveston County driver sued after allegedly striking woman loading groceries

A Galveston County woman is suing over claims she was struck by a vehicle while loading groceries into her car.


Gailon Jeanette Slaughter filed a lawsuit March 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Robert Lynn Littlejohn, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, on May 26, 2012, Littlejohn struck Slaughter with his vehicle as she loaded groceries into her car, injuring her hip, arm and the right side of her body.

Slaughter is seeking damages to cover physical and mental pain, as well as medical and court costs.

She is being represented in the case by attorney Anthony P. Griffin.
