Credit card company sues Beaumont woman

A credit card company is suing a Beaumont woman over her card charges.

FIA Card Services N.A. filed a lawsuit March 17 in the Jefferson County District Court against Katherine Rao, citing breach of contract. 

The lawsuit states FIA Card Services advanced Rao dollar amounts on her Bank of America card and Rao stopped making payments. The credit card company claims Rao owes $26.512.66.

FIA is seeking damages of $26,512.66 plus the court costs.

It is being represented by Michael J. Scott of Scott Parnell & Associates P.C.
