Gay Buick GMC sued after employee causes collision

A Harris County man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision caused by a Gay Buick GMC employee.



Henry Portillo filed a lawsuit April 7 in the Galveston County District Court against Gay Buick GMC Inc. and Omar Eduardo Rodriguez, citing negligence.


According to the complaint, Portillo was driving on Highway 45 on Aug. 29, 2012, when Rodriguez, in his employment by Gay Buick GMC, struck a Chevrolet Silverado, causing the vehicle to enter Portillo's lane and cause a collision that injured the plaintiff.


Portillo is seeking loss of wages and cost of medical care.


He is being represented in the case by attorneys Thomas F. Bickham Jr. and Kraig L. Rushing of Bickham Law in Houston.
