Plaintiff Olivistar is a Texas limited liability company with its principal place of business in McKinney.

U.S. Patent No. 6,839,731 issued Jan. 4, 2005, for a System and Method for Providing Data Communication in a Device Network; and

U.S. Patent No. 8,239,481 issued Aug. 7, 2012, for a System and Method for Implementing Open-Control Remote Device Control.

The plaintiff is seeking injunctive relief, compensatory damages, interest, treble damages, attorneys’ fees, costs and other just and proper relief. A jury trial is requested.

Plaintiff Long Corner Consumer Electronics is a Texas limited liability company with its principal office in Allen.

The defendants are accused of infringing U.S. Patent No. 7,808,483 for a System, Device and Method for Extending a Stroke of a Computer Pointing Device.  Generally, the accused instrumentalities include a sensor, for example, an accelerometer or a gyroscope, an input element, for example a touch screen, and auto-rotation capabilities.

Long Corner is seeking injunctive relief, compensatory damages, interest, costs and other relief to which it may be entitled. A jury trial is requested.

The plaintiff is represented by Craig Tadlock of the Tadlock Law Firm PLLC in Plano.

The cases have been assigned to District Judge Rodney Gilstrap.

 

InMotion Imagery Technologies LLC v Grass Valley USA LLC et al Case No. 2:14-cv-00365

Plaintiff InMotion Imagery is a Texas limited liability with its principal place of business in Marshall.

The defendants are Grass Valley USA LLC and Belden Inc.

“Upon information and belief, Belden, Inc. acquired Grass Valley, but still does business through Grass Valley USA, LLC under the Grass Valley Brand Name for its nonlinear video editing software,” the suit states.

The defendants are accused of infringing on:

U.S. Patent No. 6,526,219 issued Feb. 25, 2003, for a Picture-Based Video Indexing System; and

U.S. Patent No. 8,150,239 issued April 3, 2012, for a Picture-Based Video Indexing System.

InMotion Imagery is seeking compensatory damages, a permanent injunction, attorneys’ fees and other relief deemed just and proper. A jury trial is requested.

Better Mouse Co. LLC v Anker Tech Corp. et al Case No. 2:14-cv-00376

Better Mouse Co. is a Texas limited liability company with a principal place of business in Tyler.

The defendants are Anker Tech Corp. and Fantasia Trading LLC. They are accused of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 7,532,200 issued May 12, 2009, for an Apparatus for Setting Multi-Stage Displacement Resolution of a Mouse.

According to the suit, the defendants make, sell or distribute computer mice and other devices such as the Anker Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse, that infringe on the ‘200 Patent.

Better Mouse is seeking compensatory damages, injunctive relief, interest, attorneys’ fees and other relief deemed just and proper. A jury trial is requested.
