A Texas woman is suing over claims she and her daughter were injured in a collision on Interstate 10.
Jacquelyn M. Phillips, individually and as next friend of an unnamed minor, filed a lawsuit April 9 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Super Service Holdings LLC, doing business as Super Service LLC, and Sharlena M. Harris, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Phillips was driving westbound on Interstate 10 in Colorado County on May 4, when Harris, driving a car owned by Super Service, struck the plaintiff's car.
Phillips says she and her daughter, a minor, suffered injuries in the collision. Harris is accused of gross negligence and Super Service is accused of gross negligence, negligent hiring, negligent retention and negligent entrustment.
Phillips is seeking more than $75,000 in damages.
She is being represented in the case by attorney Muhammad S. Aziz of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend in Houston.
