Southeast Texas Drywall sues after not being paid for construction services

A construction company is suing to receive payment after completing work at a Beaumont medical facility.

Southeast Texas Drywall LLC filed suit May 21 in the Jefferson County District Court against Beaumont Surgical Hospital Partners LLC and JPAC LLC, citing breach of contract. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was contracted by defendant JPAC to provide construction labor and materials from September to February.

The plaintiff states it completed the contracted work at a doctor's office at 6025 Metropolitan Drive, Beaumont, but the defendant has refused to pay the invoice for services totaling to $10,980.68.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $10,980.68, plus interest and fees.

It is being represented by attorney Greg M. Dykeman of Strong, Pipkin, Bissell & Ledyard LLP in Beaumont.
