Texas City driver sued after striking motorcycle on Highway 6

A Galveston County man is suing over claims he was injured when his motorcycle was struck by a car.

W.L. Johnson III filed a lawsuit June 30 in the Galveston County Court against Frances Lyon Perez, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, Johnson was operating a motorcycle westbound on Highway 6 on July 6, 2012, when the motorcycle was struck by a vehicle driven by Perez. Johnson says he suffered serious injuries, and Perez is accused of negligent driving.

Johnson is seeking damages and medical expenses.

He is being represented in the case by attorney Ramzey Zein-Eldin in Galveston.
