Personnel File: Goranson Bain appoints three new partners

DALLAS– GoransonBain PLLC, a family law leader in Texas for nearly 30 years, announced Aimee M. Pingenot, P. Lindley Bain and Clint Westhoff as newly appointed partners to the firm.

Since 1987, GoransonBain has prioritized growing stronger, not just bigger. The firm has attracted bright, talented attorneys who have consistently reinforced the firm’s depth of expertise and quality of client representation. Aimee Pingenot, P. Lindley Bain and Clint Westhoff have been invaluable members of the firm thus far, and will continue upholding and enhancing GoransonBain’s reputation in the law community in their new roles.

Aimee M. Pingenot earned her Masters of Science in social work from the University of Texas at Austin, where shealso graduated with honors in psychology. After serving as an elementary school teacher with Teach for America, Pingenot earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. She was included in the Thomson Reuters Texas list of Rising Stars from 2006 through 2013, an honor based solely upon peer nomination.

Pingenot is board certified in family law. With a strong focus in both same-sex custody and contractual property agreements, Pingenot leverages a creative and personalized approach to achieve positive outcomes in Texas courts where same-sex relationships are not recognized.

P. Lindley Bain is the head of GoransonBain’s Austin, Texas office where she concentrates on financially complex divorces and high conflict custody matters. Bain earned her Bachelor’s degree from Austin College and her Juris Doctor and M.B.A. in finance from Southern Methodist University.

Bain was selected for inclusion in Thomson Reuters Texas Rising Stars from 2010-2014 and is board certified infamily law. Her strong financial background and Spanish fluency qualify her as a top-tier strategist and solution builder for a broad range of clients.

Clint Westhoff earned his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and graduated with dean’s honors from the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kan. He established courtroom experience working for Kansas Legal Services, where he represented disabled children in the foster care program, the elderly, and clients with incomes below the poverty line.

Westhoff has devoted his legal expertise to family law in Texas for more than a decade. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, member of the family law section of the Dallas Bar Association, and associate member of the Annette Stewart American Inn of Court. He was listed in the Thompson Reuters Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars from2004-2010 and chosen as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2013. Westhoff is an aggressive advocate who objectively helps clients pursue wise, sustainable outcomes in a broad spectrum of family law situations.
