A lawsuit has been filed against Hess and Chevron by an employee who was allegedly injured while working.

Ernest Arcement of Louisiana filed a lawsuit against Hess Corp. and Chevron USA Inc. on Aug. 12 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas citing negligence and gross negligence.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 9, 2014, Arcement was employed as a hydro technician at Stranco Services when he was injured on the job when he slipped and fell on a platform’s slippery stairs.
