The plaintiff Gene Reader is based in Plano.

It has initiated legal action to stop purported infringement of United States Patent Numbers 6,545,758 (the "'758 patent") and 6,567,163 (the "'163 patent"), both entitled "Microarray Detector and Synthesizer."

It seeks to stop what it asserts to be infringement of U.S. Patent Number 8,429,005, the ‘005 Patent, entitled “Method for Determining Effectiveness of Display of Objects in Advertising Images”.

The ‘005 Patent was issued on Apr. 23, 2013.

Consequently, Tangelo seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
