JMS Southeast Inc. accused of breach of contract

Contractbreached

GALVESTON – A Texas man is suing a North Carolina corporation over claims it did not pay him a severance package.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was employed by the defendant from Feb. 2, 2015, to Sept. 22, 2015, when he was terminated by JMS. The suit states that he is entitled to a severance package of six months' base pay, but JMS has not paid it. The plaintiff holds JMS Southeast Inc. responsible because it allegedly dismissed him and failed to pay him in accordance with their employment agreement.

The plaintiff seeks the following: actual damages, interests, attorney's fees and court costs. He is represented by Andrew D. Weisblatt and Nancy C. Assel of The Weisblatt Law Firm LLC in Katy.
