Provost Umphrey attorneys honored among Texas’ best young lawyers

Superlawyers

BEAUMONT -- Two attorneys from the Provost Umphrey Law Firm are being recognized among the best young lawyers in the state in the 2016 edition of Texas Rising Stars from the publishers of Super Lawyers.

According to a March 5 press release, PU attorneys Colin David Moore and Ronnie Turner Jr. earned selection to the annual listing based on their work for personal injury clients.

Moore has represented clients for more than 10 years, primarily handling personal injury cases. His work includes holding companies responsible for selling dangerous products that ultimately injured innocent workers.

His experience also includes toxic tort claims, including asbestos litigation.

Turner represents individuals and families in a variety of personal injury claims, including protecting the rights of clients in premises liability cases and lawsuits focusing on defective consumer products.

He currently serves on the board of directors for the Foundation for Southeast Texas and the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association. This marks his second selection to Texas Rising Stars.

The Texas Rising Stars list honors the state’s top attorneys who are age 40 or younger and those who have practiced law for no more than 10 years. No more than 2.5 percent of Texas lawyers earn selection to the list each year.

Founded in 1969, PU is well-known for representing plaintiffs in cases involving serious personal injury and wrongful death; motor vehicle and aviation accidents; worksite injuries; chemical exposure and toxic torts; dangerous pharmaceutical drugs; complex business disputes; high-stakes insurance claims; and wage-and-hour employment issues.
