Semi crash 07

TYLER — A Hopkins County man is suing a transport company and two individuals, alleging failure to exercise caution and causing a truck rollover.

Granville Anthony Giles filed a lawsuit April 14 in Tyler Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Greenway Transportation Inc., Rasulk Mustapayev of Pennsylvania and Tezel Senol of Florida, alleging negligence in operating a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, on March 14, 2016, Giles suffered personal injuries when a disabled 18-wheeler truck owned by Greenway Transportation and Mustapayev rolled on top of him as he tried to tow it in Mount Vernon, Texas. The truck was being driven at the time by Senol, the suit says

The plaintiff alleges Senol failed to properly control his vehicle causing it to strike Giles' tow vehicle and causing injuries to the plaintiff.

Giles seeks a trial by jury, damages of more than $75,000, interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Collen Clark of The Clark Firm in Dallas.
