Homeowners, insurer claim water damage fault of Dial One Plumbing Inc.

Contract 01

GALVESTON – An insurance firm and its clients have filed suit against an Alvin company alleging that poor plumbing work caused water damage.

Allstate Vehicle & Property Insurance Co. as subrogee of Charles Zagst Jr. and Teresa Zagst filed a complaint on May 17 in the Galveston County District Court against Dial One Plumbing Inc. alleging that it failed to provide proper work on the Zagst property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in Dec.12, 2014, they suffered damages as a result of poor plumbing services made to the Zagst home in 2011 by the defendant. The plaintiffs hold Dial One Plumbing Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly repair the plumbing on Zagst residence, resulting in them filing an insurance claim with Allstate for water damage.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by William T. Sebesta and Randall J. Poelma Jr. of Doyen Sebesta LTD LLP in Houston.
