Texas business alleges petroleum company owes more than $200,000

GALVESTON — A Texas business is suing a petroleum company, alleging the defendant failed to pay nearly $200,000 for completed work.

Tanner Services LLC filed a lawsuit May 26 in Galveston County District Court against Linc Gulf Coast Petroleum, Inc. alleging breach of contract of failure to pay.

According to the complaint, on March 24, Tanner Services suffered damages as a result of unpaid goods and services involving a mineral field. The plaintiff alleges Linc Gulf Coast failed and refused to pay plaintiff a principle amount of $196,378.21 and pre-judgment interest of $13,848.70.

Tanner Services seeks payment of the $196,378.21, interest, attorney fees of $5,000, court costs and any other relief the court deems just. It s represented by attorneys D. Brent Wells, James E. Cuellar, Jeffrey D. Stewart and Adam R. Swonke of Wells & Cuellar PC in Houston.
