League City company accuses ail filtration business of stealing customers

Contract 07

GALVESTON — A League City company is suing an air filtration business, alleging it misappropriated the plaintiff's information to directly compete with them.

Process Environments I Limited LLP of Leaghe City filed a lawsuit June 16 in Galveston County District Court against Economy Filtration LLC and Cullen Yeater, alleging breach of contract and unfair competition.

According to the complaint, Process Environments suffered financial damages to its business as a result of trade secrets being used to solicit the plaintiff's existing and potential customers. The plaintiff alleges the defendants misappropriated the plaintiff's confidential and proprietary information in order to directly compete with Process Environments by soliciting its customers in order to support Yeater's newly formed business.

Process Environments seeks a temporary restraining order, temporary injunction, actual damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. It is represented by attorney Kyle L. Dickson of Murray Lobb PLLC in Houston.
