GALVESTON — A Texarkana investment firm is suing debtors and guarantors, alleging failure to comply with a promissory note.
Equichase Ltd. filed a lawsuit July 28 in Galveston County District Court against Netwrk Services LLC, Netwrk Partners Holdinggs LLC, Netwrk Oartners National LLC. Netwrk Access National LLC and Bonnie Grey-Matourek, alleging breach of contract. .
According to the complaint, on Dec. 31, 2015, Equichase provided a loan of $100,000 to the defendants. The suit says the plaintiff has suffered damages in the form of the benefits of the bargain and lost use of funds.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants made false statements when they signed the contract and failed to pay the full amount of $113,000 that was due Jan. 30.
Equichase seeks a trial by jury, actual damages, including consequential losses and interest, attorney fees, costs and such other relief to which it may show itself justly entitled. He is represented by attorney Darren W. Anderson of Texarkana.
