Firearms part manufacturer sues dealer

Firearms part manufacturer sues High Standards Firearms Ltd.

HOUSTON — A firearms part manufacturer is suing High Standards Firearms Ltd., a firearms dealer, citing alleged breach of contract and failure to pay purchased product.

AO Precision Manufacturing LLC filed a complaint on Aug. 9, in the Harris County District Court against High Standards Firearms Ltd. alleging that the firearms dealer failed to comply with their contract by failing to pay the goods provided by plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has shipped lower receivers to defendant on three occasions totaling 1,247 units, which caused plaintiff to suffer damages for not collecting payment in the sum amount of $61,103. The plaintiff holds High Standards Firearms Ltd. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the amounts due and owing.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks seeks monetary relief of over $100,000 but not more than $200,000, plus court costs, pre and post judgment interest, attorney's fees and such other relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Christopher Adams and Brian D. Roman of Okin & Adams LLP in Houston.
