Law money 07

HOUSTON — A Louisiana man is suing oilfield operators, alleging their negligence led to the plaintiff sustaining injuries.

Bradley Roberts filed a lawsuit Oct. 23 in Harris County District Court against Trinidad Drilling and Exco Resources, alleging failure to provide a safe work environment.

According to the complaint, in February 2015, Roberts was injured while working at the defendants' oilfield facility in Texas. The plaintiff alleges the defendants rushed and assigned him to a position with which he was not comfortable, failed to provide warnings and proper notice of dangers, negligently permitted him to use substandard or improper equipment and failed to provide proper medical care.

Roberts seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $1 million and all other relief the court deems just and proper. He is represented by attorneys Nicholas A. Morrow and John D. Sheppard of Morrow & Sheppard LLP in Houston.
