Staffing service provider cites borrower for alleged breach of promissory note

HOUSTON — A staffing service provider is suing Willis Group LLC, Willis Group Holdings LLC, Jabco Partners II LLC, Genuent USA LLC, Michael T. Willis and Mark Willis, borrower, citing alleged breach of contract.

General Employment Enterprises Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 24, in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against the defendants alleging that they failed to comply with the terms of their promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in June 17, in anticipation of a proposed transaction for an asset sale wherein defendants would sell certain items to plaintiff, plaintiff loaned $500,000 to defendant Willis Group Parties. Up to the date of filing of this complaint, plaintiff has not receive any payment. The plaintiff holds Willis Group LLC, Willis Group Holdings LLC, Jabco Partners II LLC, Genuent USA LLC, Michael T. Willis and Mark Willis responsible because the defendants allegedly terminated the proposed transaction on Sept. 14 and failed to repay plaintiff pursuant to the terms of the note.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, award for the return of $500,000, with interest and late charges, attorney's fees, costs and such other and further relief. It is represented by Charles C. Frederiksen of Glast, Phillips & Murray PC in Dallas.
