HOUSTON — A Houston woman is suing Boeing, alleging age discrimination and wrongful discharge.

Pam Lyde filed a lawsuit Nov. 7 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against The Boeing (U.S.) Company, alleging violation of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

According to the complaint, as a result of the age discrimination, Lyde, 50, has suffered embarrassment, emotional distress and was denied employment, promotions and raises.

The plaintiff alleges Boeing subjected Lyde, who began working for the company in 1989, to unequal terms and conditions of employment, adverse employment actions and wrongful termination based on her age.

Lyde seeks trial by jury, actual, punitive and compensatory damages, back pay, front pay and benefits, attorney fees and all other relief to which she is justly entitled. She is represented by attorney Chukwudi Egbuonu of Law Office of Chukwudi Egbuonu in Houston.
