Managing member accuses accounting firm, officers of fraud

HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing an accounting company and its officers, alleging fraudulent misrepresentation and inducement.

Sirine Jabri filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in Harris County District Court against Charles Pettway, Pettway Management Consultants LLC and Mowafac Jabri, alleging they conspired to defraud the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, as a managing member of the millennium First Development Management LLC and as result of the defendants' fraud, Jabri has suffered substantial monetary losses. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants misrepresented the earnings of the company and converted those funds for their personal use.

Jabri seeks trial by jury, compensation for all damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and court costs, plus all proper relief. She is represented by attorney Cheryl F. Coleman of Coleman & Associates in Houston.
