Law money 03

HOUSTON — A Denton County man is suing jet charter operators, alleging violation of workers compensation acts.

Randall Shawn White filed a lawsuit Feb. 21 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Asheville Jet Charter and Management, Inc., doing business as Bizjet Partners, LLC, and Liberty Jet Management Corp., alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, between Sept. 2-15, 2016, White performed all of his normal duties as a chief pilot but was terminated without him knowing and he received absolutely no compensation. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to send him a letter telling him that his employment was terminated and failed to compensate him for the entire pay period of which he worked.

White seeks trial by jury, all direct damages, attorney fees, court costs, pre and post-judgment interest and all other relief the court deems necessary. He is represented by Amie Augenstein and Christopher J. Gale of Gale Law Group PLLC in Corpus Christi.
