Barri Money Services alleges it is owed more than $15,000 for loan

GALVESTON – An Alto individual and a Texas corporation are alleged to have failed to pay a loan in full.

Barri Money Services LLC filed a complaint on April 27 in the Galveston County District Court against CAT Angela's LLC, doing business as Tres Soles, and Celeste Velasco alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 22, 2016, the parties entered into a promissory note in which defendants agreed to pay plaintiff the principal amount of $19,730 in 40 weekly installments. To date, the principal balance of $15,850 allegedly remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff seeks payment for the principal amount of $15,850, plus interest, costs of court, attorney's fees and all other relief to which plaintiff is justly entitled. It is represented by Jared G. Flynn of Johnson, Trent & Taylor LLP in Houston.
