HOUSTON – A worker alleges she was injured at a Wal-Mart owned property.

Tamika Lattimer filed a complaint on May 8 in the Harris County District Court against EmployBridge Holding Co., doing business as Prologistix, and Wal-Mart Stores Texas LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 8, 2016, she was working on behalf of the defendants and was severely injured while at a Wal-Mart property in Baytown when she tripped and fell over a railing while moving inventory.

The plaintiff holds EmployBridge Holding Co. and Wal-Mart Stores Texas LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to correct the dangerous condition and failed to warn plaintiff of the existence of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court, plus interest, costs of this action and such other just and proper relief. She is represented by John Arthur Daspit and Brent W. Randel of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
