HOUSTON – A former reality show contestant alleges that she was one of the victims in a recent Houston apartment shooting, according to a lawsuit filed on May 15 in Harris County District Court.

Brandy Rusher joins the estates of Christopher Beatty and Wayne Rusher; Danica Fuller; Jasmine Ballet; Arthur Larkin, Jr.; and Isaiah Rusher as a co-plaintiff suing Equality-Lakeline, LLC; Equality Community Housing Corp.; and J Allen Management Co. over the Mar. 26 shooting at Haverstock Hills Apartments.

Court documents explain that three individuals entered the premises with an assault rifle and opening fire on the residents. The attack killed Beatty and Wayne Rusher while inflicting “severe, life-threatening injuries” on Brandy Rusher, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, and three others.

A jury trial is requested.
