Contractor alleges homeowner owes $17,000

GALVESTON — A Galveston County contractor is suing a La Porte homeowner, alleging breach of agreement.

Tannos Construction and Development LLC filed a complaint June 20 in Galveston County District Court against Erik Miller, alleging failure to to fully perform his contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, Tannos Construction performed a number of repairs on Miller's newly constructed home in La Porte. After offsets and credits, the balance of $17,277.16 remains unpaid, the suit says. 

Tannos Construction seeks trial by jury, actual damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other equitable relief. It is represented by attorneys Amanda D. Wright and Jocelyn A. Holland of Mcleod, Alexander, Powel & Apffel PC in Galveston.
