Hubble Electronics employee files suit over fall from ladder

HOUSTON – A Harris County man is suing his employer after he was injured in a fall from a ladder while working.

Joshua Humerickhouse filed a complaint in the Harris County District Court against Hubble Electronics LLC & Faith Academy of Belleville Inc., alleging negligence and premises liability.

The plaintiff alleges he was retained by Hubble to do electrical work. On Jan. 17, he alleges he was working for the defendant using a ladder that it provided for him. He alleges he fell from the ladder and had to be transported to the hospital with serious and life-altering injuries.

The plaintiff alleges Hubble failed in its duty to provide safe equipment for him to use.

The plaintiff is seeking interest, compensatory and punitive damages and monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million. The plaintiff is represented by Wisam Ghuneim of The Ghuneim Law Firm in Pasadena.
